To the early Greeks, charisma was said to be "a divine favor or
gift" or "gift of grace," implying that this "divine quality" was
an inborn trait. Today, however, many believe it can be taught and/or learned. Indeed,
this has been my experience. My healing touch mission, through both practice and
education, is to hone this inherent potential.
It has been said that the "eyes
are the window to the soul". Intrapsychic Touchä, the
non-invasive Energy Healing Technique I serendipitously discovered almost ten years ago,
integrates both Therapeutic Touch (TT) Energy Medicine and Gestalt Therapy. Profound
experiences have since been shared by both me and my students.
Essentially, TT, with its
already well-known and scientifically researched physical benefits, such as reduced stress
and anxiety, and the facilitation of one's innate healing ability, when integrated with
Gestalt Therapy, produces profound emotional release and healing. Therefore, I have an
obligation to share, practice, and teach this innovative healing technique.
Through Caring, Empathy, and Pure
Intentionality, thereby acting as a Gestalt "Silent Witness", we both notice,
and "see, with our eyes", that which calls for attention in the recipient.
Therefore, Intrapsychic Touch produces emotional and psychological
healing, through the release, then transformation, of unresolved issues. This occurs
energetically without re-traumatization experienced by the recipient, and without adverse
impact on the healer. Hence, there is no longer the need for one to "go through the
eye of the storm", or re-live painful experiences, in order to be healed, and become
whole.
Individual IPT or Gestalt sixty or
ninety minute sessions are offered. In-hospital healing is available by request. By way of
a five hour experiential workshop, this technique is both easily learned and replicated.
In Greek, the word,
"Theophania", means the manifestation, or appearance, of God. It is indeed true
that we have the innate ability to heal ourselves and others. Hence, it is my mission to
share this epiphanous technique. Ancient Healers showed us the Way.
