PROFESSIONAL WORKSHOPS
(5 Hour Format)

These experiential workshops have been approved for continuing education units by: the National Association of Social Workers (NASW),  the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS), the Massachussett Association of Social Workers (MASW), and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN).. Approval by the American Holistic Nurses Association. A "Certificate of Attendance" will be granted upon completion.

(Registration for all workshops must be received at least one week in advance.)

Program Objectives:

At the end of this workshop, the participant will:

  1. Learn Relaxation, Deep Breathing, Centering, and Chakra Alignment Techniques

  2. Be skilled in performing the Intrapsychic Touchä Energy Healing technique, non-invasively, with "no touch" therapy

  3. Identify how repressed memories and unresolved traumas are both stored in the body, and transmitted transgenerationally

  4. Relate the concept of Gestalt "Silent Witness" as Care-giver to help clients release, then transmute, stored trauma energies, without experiencing re-traumatization.

  5. Apply Gestalt Therapy techniques to process out released memories

  6. Identify ways to apply Energy Techniques to Psychotherapy and Nursing Practice, in general, and Addictions Counselling, in particular.

  7. Address implications for future research and practice.
